Our OSHC is located on the beautiful grounds of St Cecilia’s Catholic School and is open to children from the school. The Coordinator plays an integral role and is responsible for managing and leading a team of enthusiastic educators in providing and overseeing programs for children aged 5 – 12 years in Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care.This is a Permanent Full-time position, paying between $73,000 and $ 79,000 per year plus Superannuation as per the Children’s Services Award.Duties
- Engaging, implementing, and evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children and meets the requirements of the u0027My Time - Our Placeu0027 Framework.
- Understanding the requirements of being the Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
- Ensuring compliance to the National Quality Standards and the Regulations.
- Recruiting, supervising and rostering of all employees to ensure the centre is running to high standard.
- Completing employee appraisals, holding team meeting and ensuring all employees are trained on the Children’s Services policies and procedures.
- Building ongoing positive relationships with the schools, families, and employees.
- Where needed take on the role of Educational Leader within the service.
- Working on administrative tasks and efficient day to day operation of the service.
- Managing fee payments from families and liaising with the Manager on the service budget.
- Working with Children Check.
- Completion of CHCPRT025 "Identify & report children and young people at Risk"
- Qualifications bachelor of early childhood or five years’ relevant employment experience in a similar role.
- Skills and experience in team leadership.
- Knowledge of regulations relevant to Outside School Hours Care and the National Quality Framework – My Time Our Place, as it applies to Outside School Hours Care.
- Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis.
