Job description

SA Water is currently seeking an entry level Reward and Benefits Adviser to join the team.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate analysis and advice on all aspects of reward, under the guidance of the Reward and Benefits Lead. This presents an exciting opportunity to work closely with our People Partners, and play a pivotal role in our organisations success and to significantly influence the overall experience of our employees.

If you are fluent in remuneration And Benefits, that's great, but we're also open to individuals with general HR or other corporate advisory experience who want to specialise in this field. This presents a wonderful opportunity for those who are people-oriented, business savvy and analytically minded, with a curiosity to carve out a rewarding career in remuneration And Benefits. This Max Term opportunity is available until December 2024.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role:
Support our People Team by providing considered remuneration And Benefits advice.
Contribute to the review, re-launch and promotion of our benefit programs, helping to enhance our Employee Value Proposition.
Participate on our Remuneration Panel by completing job evaluations and contributing classification advice.
Conduct market research and analysis to ensure our Reward And Benefits practice is contemporary and competitive, aligned with SA Waters strategic framework.
Support cyclical and other operational activities including our annual Remuneration Review, out of cycle salary reviews, BOOT, business case reviews, policy review and process enhancements.

Your success in this role will come from:
Tertiary qualification in a field related to either Business, HR, Commerce or Mathematical Sciences.
Strong business acumen and ability to think critically to develop and provide concise and considered advice.
Excellent research, reporting and analytical skills.
Enthusiasm for continuous learning and improvement, and a willingness to specialise in Reward And Benefits.
Microsoft Excel skills including ability to develop / understand formulas and basic macros.
Experience (desirable) using the Mercer CED job evaluation methodology.
Experience (desirable) or ability to quickly learn and master (essential) HRIS, salary benchmarking tools and other technologies (e.g. Chris21, Cornerstone, Mercer WIN, Korn Ferry Pay).
