About the role
Role Location: North Fremantle WA
Role Type: Full Time
Specific Responsibilities

• The role is to check and report on operating conditions of vehicles on a daily basis.
• Obey all Road Rules and drive in a safe and courteous manner at all times.
• Behave in a courteous manner whilst at the client's premises.
• Pick up and delivery of loads / containers / cargo
• Adherence to DG requirements including completion of hazardous / DG training
• Ensure safety and security of loads and ensure vehicle is carrying the necessary equipment to do so.
• Load freight if required onto vehicle
• Complete run sheets and obtain signatures as instructed
• Enforce and adhere to all licensing obligations set out to the company by the Australian Customs Service and Australian Quarantine & Inspection Services.
• General understanding of transport and yard operations.
• Good operational understanding of NVHAS compliance
• Work within Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations in all areas of role (eg fatigue, MASS, speed etc)
• Demonstrate inclusive behaviour and show respect for diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives

What can you bring to Qube?

• Current Australian HR-MC heavy vehicle driver's license and other relevant licenses as required
• Logistics studies would be well regarded
• Minimum 3 years' experience in operating heavy vehicles
• Experience in Pneumatic Tankers is preferred
• Good geographical knowledge of Melbourne
• Advanced operating skills with heavy transport
• Ability to complete basic paperwork & operate PDA
• Experience in refrigerated transport and associated operations
• Outstanding customer service skills with a commitment to maintaining and exceeding Company standards
