The Opportunity
Reporting to the Team Leader Governance Services, this role is responsible for overseeing the enterprise risk management framework, maintaining Council’s corporate risk register and facilitating both Council’s Audit, Risk & Improvement Committee and insurance claims (except workers compensation and motor vehicles) to minimise exposure to a wide range of risks.
The ideal candidate will have tertiary or other qualifications in and/or equivalent experience in a related discipline and demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within a local government environment.
To succeed in the role, you will have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, excellent verbal, and written communication, with the ability to always maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information.

Annual salary of $79,000 to $90,000 (plus super)
