The role

As a Risk Director, you will have a lead role in identifying and understanding behaviours and risks (including emerging) and develop strategic and operational initiatives to manage behaviours and risk that meet our government commitments.

Your duties

  • Undertake evidence-based analysis to identify and assess tax and superannuation compliance risks
  • Implement governance frameworks
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies
  • Build, maintain and manage multiple relationships

Skills and experience

  • Influential leader with a high level of knowledge and experience (ideally 5+ years) in the application or development of risk management frameworks
  • Strong knowledge or experience in risk functions
  • Skilled and influential communicator
  • Strategic thinker and problem-solver who develops innovative solutions to manage risks
  • Knowledge of tax and superannuation laws and applies this to risk management frameworks

Tertiary qualifications in economics, finance, law and business (or similar disciplines) or industry/government experience in risk management, intelligence or risk-related roles are highly desirable.

Experience as a Power BI developer or user would be advantageous.

These roles will be offered in Adelaide, Albury, Box Hill (VIC), Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Dandenong, Geelong, Gosford, Hobart, Melbourne CBD, Moonee Ponds, Newcastle, Parramatta, Penrith, Perth, Sydney CBD, Townsville, Upper Mount Gravatt or Wollongong.
