The role
As a Risk Director, you will have a lead role in identifying and understanding behaviours and risks (including emerging) and develop strategic and operational initiatives to manage behaviours and risk that meet our government commitments.
Your duties
- Undertake evidence-based analysis to identify and assess tax and superannuation compliance risks
- Implement governance frameworks
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies
- Build, maintain and manage multiple relationships
Skills and experience
- Influential leader with a high level of knowledge and experience (ideally 5+ years) in the application or development of risk management frameworks
- Strong knowledge or experience in risk functions
- Skilled and influential communicator
- Strategic thinker and problem-solver who develops innovative solutions to manage risks
- Knowledge of tax and superannuation laws and applies this to risk management frameworks
Tertiary qualifications in economics, finance, law and business (or similar disciplines) or industry/government experience in risk management, intelligence or risk-related roles are highly desirable.
Experience as a Power BI developer or user would be advantageous.
