We have got an exciting opportunity for a Risk Manager to work in the Business Controls & Monitoring team at BT. This role will focus on maintaining and updating Value Chain process models, implementing the Value Chain Management framework. The right candidate will partner with Process and Control owners to assess process pain points, recommend improvements, and support the identification and management risks in the end-to-end business operations.
This role will provide the key process information needed to ensure that all Value Chain Risk & Compliance Matrices underpinning the Value Chain risk profile are complete and accurate. A strong understanding of process modelling is essential. Knowledge of or experience with the Holocentric tool is highly desirable.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
Partner with the Line of Business to develop, support and monitor the operationalisation of Westpac’s Value Chain Management Framework and policies. This includes:
Ongoing maintenance of the Business Capability Model (BCM), consistent with the Business Architecture Standards
Review of the Value Chain Ownership Model completeness, accuracy and compliance, including the relevant Statement of Accountability
Provide oversight to the ongoing maintenance of the Value Chain Process Models, consistent with Process Architecture Standard
Provide oversight to changes or initiatives that impact the Value Chain
Manage process prioritisation of Value Chain risk profile modelling, assessment, analysis and reporting
Coach and support the Line of Business to build greater Value Chain Management awareness and capability

What do I need?
We are ideally looking for a risk management professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. We also need someone who has a strong understanding of process modelling across multiple business functions.
It is also essential that the successful candidate has excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. We would also be looking for demonstrable experience translating the complex into simple and communicating/ delivering with passion.
