Job Opportunity
We are seeking experienced candidates for the position of Riverboat Captain (Master 24 / MED 3) on a casual basis, with potential for full-time / part time employment for the right candidate. The role involves a flexible schedule averaging 25-35 hours per week, including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Lead crew to ensure smooth vessel operation.
- Provide outstanding customer service to all patrons.
- Operate vessels safely and efficiently, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Maintain vessel operational integrity and conduct minor maintenance tasks as required.
Requirements
- Master 5 Certificate of Competency.
- MED 3 Certificate of Competency.
- LK19 (Yarra River Local Knowledge) certification. LK18 (Port Phillip North) desirable.
- Experience in hospitality and tourism preferred.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and seasonal demands.
- Strong professionalism and communication skills.
- Valid Australian work rights.
