The Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Boat Captain to join our team. Reporting to the Park Managers and River Cruiser Supervisor, you will monitor operations onboard the vessel, including navigation, maintenance, compliance with local regulations, and the safety of all passengers and crew.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you must have the following knowledge, experience, and attributes: 

  • Coxswain Grade 1 Certificate of Competency or above (essential).
  • First Aid Certificate (essential).
  • A current valid driver’s licence (essential).
  • Experience driving boats and boat maintenance.
  • Available to work a flexible roster.
  • A great attitude and willingness to learn.
  • A focus on providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Knowledge of correct manual handling techniques and WHS awareness.

This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
