Seeking Assistant in Nursing | Enrolled Nurse | Registered Nurse | Registered Midwife & Clinical Nurses in Queensland

• AHPRA Required

• • All hours worked over and above rostered hours per shift will be paid and charged at the applicable overtime rate. The placement is for a rostered 76 hour fortnight and overtime will also be paid if worked hours are greater than 76 hours a fortnight
  • Accommodation: Shared accommodation will be provided – please note that accommodation cannot always be guaranteed on site
  • Domestic Travel:  $200 incl. GST each way provided for travel costs for start and completion of contract with tax receipts to be provided. Travel costs claimed are for travel within Queensland only.
  • Travel Day: One travel day paid at AM rate to be claimed at the start of contract only. This travel is to be paid based on actual travel time; a maximum of 7.6 hours can be claimed.
  • Agreement for shift break – either 8 hour shift break or 10 hour shift break

Mandatory qualifications/Professional registration/Other requirements

• Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.
• Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
• Evidence of participation in a continuing professional education program.
• Candidates must provide certified copies of requested proof of identify documents for the purposes of general Criminal history and National Police Certificate checks.

Mandatory Requirements

• Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
• Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
• Immunisation History.
