We are looking for an experienced Road Train Operator. This person needs to drive and maintain a pocket Road Train during peak periods. In off-peak times this person will be required to help out on the farm, helping cart gravel to build roads and assist with seeding operations and other farmhand duties. Waringa Farming is a broad-acre enterprise in the Chapman Valley & Northampton Shires approximately 70km from Geraldton in WA. Applications are now open for a full time Road Train Driver and Farmhand.
The successful applicant will work under the direction of the manager and be required to communicate and work effectively within our team. The role requires a person with a results focused attitude who is willing to adopt new technologies, accept direction and take on responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
MC licence & medical
Ability to maintain machinery and farm assets
Broad acre operations experience
Good communication + time management skills
Self-motivation and progressive attitude with attention to detail
The remuneration package will be salary based and offered reflective to the successful applicants experience and suitability to the position.
A well maintained home on the property is included within the salary package and is within close proximity to the local primary school and 70-80km to Geraldton, a regional city centre.
