About the role
Our client is an experienced Civil Contracting company in Road, Bridge and Construction. They are looking for reliable experienced staff to support them with across Northern and Western Melbourne area on road widening projects.
To be considered you will possess a white card and a minimum of 12 months in civil construction. Initially this will include duties for site preparation, yard works, placement of barriers, fencing and amenities. You will be operating as a general hands taking instructions from leading hand and client operators. As the project ramps up you will be required to use basic tools, perform various manual labour tasks. You will need to be physically fit and capable of lifting items comfortably.
Experience with Roads Construction / asphalting would be highly favorable.
To be considered for the role you must:
- Have relevant tickets
- Have previous experience
- Be able to provide references to confirm these skills
- Have a strong work ethic
- Hold a current drivers licence and have reliable transport
