Our Beverley Recycling and Waste Centre provides an essential service for our community in recycling and waste with the centre operating across 7 days. Our team members understand the importance of customer service, and have a safety first focus in their day to day duties. As the Field Leader, this position will undertake works and provide active on-site leadership and direction to the operations of the Beverley Recycling and Waste Centre.
About you

- A strong safety focus to ensure their own safety and that of others in the workplace;
- Experience in leading others and positively contributing to a team environment;
- Experience in general labouring and or waste removal;
- A positive outlook and good communication skills;
- Flexibility to work across weekends and outside of ordinary operating hours; and
- White card and MR truck licence are essential, with tickets in excavator, loader, backhoe, and a HR truck licence highly regarded.

About the detail
The Field Leader – Beverley Recycling and Waste Centre position is classified at the ME8 classification level with an annual salary starting of $77,973 plus superannuation (rate effective from 8 July 2024). At the City of Charles Sturt, we also offer:
