AddressTransbeam Industries specialises in CNC plate processing, automated beam manufacture and fabrication of products for the road transport, mining, construction, and general engineering industries.
Due to the expansion of our operations, an opportunity exists for a successful candidate to join the team that underpins the success of Transbeam Industries.
As a Robot Assistant, you will play a crucial role in various aspects within the truck and trailer industry. You will work closely with our Fabrication Team to ensure the robot systems’ output meets its full potential.
This position is/includes:
- Full-time permanent role.
- Monday to Friday local position.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Undertaking light welding and finishing operations as and when required.
- Loading and unloading of robot cells.
- Some light fabrication required.
- Calling programs and robot shut down.
- Use of basic tools - Tape, Grinder 5” and familiarity wearing a welding helmet.
About you:
- 2nd Class Welding experience is essential.
- Finish welds to a high standard for visible welds (onsite training provided).
- Self-Motivated and hands on with an ability react quickly to changing requirements.
- Ability to work on repetitive modules and components.
- Be available to work Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2.30pm, with optional overtime available.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test.
- Provide a valid National Police clearance (not issued longer than 6 months ago).
- Hold a current LF (forklift) license or willing and able to obtain one.
- Overhead crane experience (desirable).
