The Opportunity

 HBF is seeking talented RPA Specialists to join our established Automation and Process Centre of Excellence team. In this role, you will drive process improvements and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives within our Claims and Processing team and across the organisation. Working closely with business and technology teams, you will identify automation opportunities aligned with HBF's strategic objectives and ensure the successful implementation and governance of RPA solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities using RPA.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to understand process requirements for RPA development.
  • Design, develop, test, and implement RPA solutions that interact with multiple applications.
  • Apply agile principles to prototype and iterate RPA development.
  • Implement governance frameworks for the adoption of RPA, ensuring alignment with existing systems and technology practices.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and drive continuous improvements in the RPA capability.
  • Communicate effectively with business representatives and IT services owners to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Coordinate RPA and process improvement tasks with other business areas.
  • Participate in departmental activities, training programs, and collaborative discussions to support team goals.

About You

 As a Robotic Process Automation Specialist at HBF, you are a driven and innovative professional with a passion for leveraging technology to drive efficiency and improve processes. With a minimum of 12+ months of hands-on development experience in RPA bot development, you bring a deep understanding of automation principles and practices to the table. Your experience working in agile or lean environments has honed your ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You thrive in dynamic environments, where you can apply your logical problem-solving skills and creativity to identify and implement automation opportunities. Your proficiency in RPA tooling and practices, coupled with your strong governance mindset, ensures the successful adoption and sustainable operation of RPA solutions. You are a proactive communicator, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to drive alignment and achieve desired outcomes.  Essential:

  • Minimum 12+ months of hands-on development experience in RPA bot development.
  • Experience working in an agile or lean environment.

  • Proficiency in RPA tooling and practices, with a focus on governance and operational considerations.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive tasks to resolution.
