We are seeking a skilled Trade Assistant to join their team ASAP! Day shift 6.30am to 2.30pm plus OT Pay rate $38/hr - $45/hr negotiable on experience
You would be responsible for assisting with the installation of Roller Shutters and similar for security at both residential and commercial sites. This would be a varied role travelling anywhere from the Sunshine Coast, out to Gatton and down to Coffs Harbour! Carpentry, trade assistant or electrical background is ideal but fabrication or anyone technically minded who can follow processes, would be capable of performing the role as training will be provided.
To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following key criteria: Experience working with various hand & power tools Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Display a high level of attention to detail Be proactive with a strong safety focus Have great communication skills
Practice good housekeeping Must be physically fit and not afraid of heights as working on ladders and able to work well in a small team to get the jobs done on time. Need to be mechanically minded to deal with all the moving parts and motors, including manual winders etc.
Installation knowledge would be considered highly advantageous but not essential so long as you're self sufficient and good on tools! Must take pride in your work and respect peoples' property as will be client facing.
