We’re looking for a skilled Linesperson and/or Live Line Linesperson, to permanently join our team located in Roma.

Remuneration:
- From $89,299 per annum + 12.75% superannuation as a Linesperson
- From $98,137 per annum + 12.75% superannuation for a Live Line Linesperson.
Location Incentives:
- Non-Urban Zone Allowance - up to $3,000 per annum.
- Housing Allowance - up to $9,360 per annum.
- Locality Allowance - up to $1,151 per annum.
- Non-Urban Time Recognition Payments - $5,000 after 2 years and an additional $5,000 at 5, 10, 15 & 20 year milestones.
- Relocation Assistance of $5,000 is available to approved candidates.

About the role:
As a Linesperson and/or Live Line Linesperson, you will:
- Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Linesperson, or
- Be trade qualified with a Queensland Live Line authorisation.
- Construct, maintain and repair overhead, high and low voltage electrical distribution and sub-transmission systems, street lighting mains and customer service lines.
About you:
Critical to your success in the role, is your:
- Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network.
- Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations.
- Availability for call out and emergency work.
- Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work.
- Current ‘C’ class open Drives Licence.
You will be required to complete a pre-employment medical as part of the selection process.
