Responsibilities of a Roof Plumbing Apprentice:
- General maintenance of the roof (tiles, colourbond)
- Installation of new roof sheets or tiles
- Repairing or replacing gutters/ box gutters on a roof
- Installation of rainwater tanks and maximizing of catchment from downpipes
- Installation of downpipes.
- Interpret technical drawings/ diagrams of a roof.
- Learn how to install flashings on a roof.
- Learn how to install valleys on a roof.
- Learn how to silicone/ seal correctly.
- Trouble shoot with finding roof leaks.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Driver's license
- Construction White Card or actively working towards obtaining one
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical exam, including a drug and alcohol screen
- Positive attitude towards learning and personal development
