Rydges Resort Hunter Valley is currently seeking casual Housekeeping Superstars to join our team in a fast-paced hotel resort environment. You will need to bring your energy and stamina every day and reap the benefits & perks of working for the biggest hospitality employer in the Hunter Valley.
Rydges Resort Hunter Valley is a premier 418 room consisting of hotel rooms and outside villas. The resort is a sprawling playground in the heart of wine country, where's there's something special for everyone.
We are looking for someone with a big personality that can have fun with and entertain our guests. The candidate will ideally also have a passion for hotels and hospitality and be hungry for experience that will further their career within.
About the role
- Cleaning of guest rooms & outside villas to the high standards that we uphold and our guests expectations and our reputation
- Providing efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests at every interaction - whether it's giving them directions for the best hotel coffee or being a local expert or saying hello to make them feel welcome
- Responsibility for ensuring misplaced or lost property items are handed in to help reunite them with their owners
- Ability to recognise and report maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Ensuring security of keys and guest rooms at all times by adherence to security procedures
Skills & experience
- Previous housekeeping experience desired but not essential. Full training will be provided to all new starters.
- Be able to communicate with everyone from your team mates, guests, other departments up to the General Manager.
- Perfect eye for detail & pride in what you do!
- High standard of grooming & pride in the way you look
- Be self-motivated & have the ability to work unsupervised
- Be a team player to help others at the end of your shift without hesitation
- Ability to follow procedures and instruction
- Availability to work a flexible roster across 7 days including Public Holidays
- Drivers licence to operate hotel vehicles (i.e. buggies)
- Full working rights in Australia as no sponsorships will be offered
