La Anchor Pty is currently seeking committed educators and LEAD EDUCATORs that are currently studying or would like to study their Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Employer sponsorships and employer paid traineeship options available for suitable candidates.

Multiple positions available within the centre. We are growing and at present have a small centre that is committed to building a quality and trusted EARLY CHILDHOOD education centre that embraces the small community connections. We value the hard-working team that are already in place and are looking to expand and grow with new centres under construction in the area.

Our new team members will be joining our experienced team in inspiring children to learn and grow through play. We aim to be an extension of the home by providing an environment where children feel loved, accepted and secure, as well as establishing strong relationships with our families and the wider Pilbara community. We are dedicated to developing, implementing and evaluating an educational program that is in line with the National Quality Framework – Early Years Learning Framework.

Our educators are all provided with flexible and family friendly working options that range from half day shifts, lunch cover, rostered days off etc. The service operates between 6:00am and 6:00pm. Task & Responsibilities
    • Oversee daily operations of the Centre, including the ability to keep on top of and perform daily administration tasks.
    • Effective communication with parents and caregivers and ability to develop relationships within the centre.
    • Ensure the highest quality of education and care is transferred throughout the Centre by supporting and upholding the Centre’s policies, procedures, philosophy, and regulations.
    • Ensuring daily activities are implemented and observations are made and recorded whilst providing leadership and guidance to a team of assistants and trainees.
    • Maintain up to date knowledge of children’s allergy and medical conditions, responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care.
    • Ability to keep on top of tasks with effective time management skills.
    • Planning and implementing programs and activities to develop the physical, social, emotional, and educational needs of young children.
    • Work well within a team environment.
    • Monitor children during outdoor activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning.
    • Responsible for safety and physical wellbeing of children under 5; be observant of hazards and remove them or report them immediately to management.
    • Ensure regular communication and maintain, grow and nurture good positive relationships with parents, peers and families.
Qualification & Experience
  • Formal qualifications preferred with at least 2 years of relevant work experience. 
  • If you do not have formal qualifications, further years of work experience may be required.
