We have partnered with Illawarra/ Shoalhaven Health District assisting to fill their Junior Medical Officer positions. The Unaccredited Trainee Positions are primarily based out of Wollongong Hospital with other rotations in either Shellharbour, Bulli or Shoalhaven.
Wollongong is a coastal city in Australia, south of Sydney along the Grand Pacific Drive. Surfing beaches and rock pools line the coastline. Trails encircle the forests and rocky cliffs of Mt. Keira in the Illawarra Mountain range, which frames the city. To the north, hang gliders launch from Bald Hill. South lie the Buddhist temple of Nan Tien and Lake Illawarra, a large lagoon with boating and fishing facilities.
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Rotational Positions include but are not limited to, Emergency Medicine, General Medicine & Sub Specialities, General Surgery & Sub Specialities, Paediatrics, O&G and Psychiatry. Offering 12 0r 18 month contracts. Opportunity to go on to further training programmes within the health district.
SELECTION CRITERIA
MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
Competent Authority Pathway Eligibility
Minimum one year post graduate experience
