Nu-Tank has been Central and Western Queensland’s preferred tank manufacturer for over 15 years. Nu-Tank manufacture and supply superior storage tanks, transport tanks, fire fighting units, troughs and feeders. About the Role
This position works seamlessly to ensure that products are manufactured with adherence to Australian Standard practices, as well as all Workplace Health and Safety protocols. They will answer directly to the Production Manager ensuring that all manufacturing targets are met and exceeded where possible. This position offers attractive pay rates and penalties.
Role Responsibilities
- Adherence to shift manufacturing targets.
- Products made in accordance to Australian Standard practices, ensuring the high quality of all products at all times.
- WHS and production paperwork.
- Operation of various tools and machinery, including forklift.
- High level of cleanliness to be maintained in allocated working area, as well as throughout the manufacturing plant.
- Assistance to other team members where required.
In order to be successful, applicants must have the following:
- Be able to work as part of a team environment, as well as show initiative to work alone.
- Physically fit for labour intensive work.
- Flexible to day shift & night shifts.
- Basic literacy & numeracy skills.
- Willingness to oblige with all workplace health & safety standards.
- Attention to detail.
- A can-do attitude.
- Hardworking, reliable & punctual.
- Current forklift license will be seen as beneficial to the role, as well as previous warehousing and/or manufacturing experience.
- Working at Heights ticket will also be seen as beneficial.
