The Opportunity
As the Roving Chef, your portfolio of homes will cover our 16 NSW homes, including our regional homes in Orange, Central Coast, Newcastle and Worrowing Heights for up to 6 weeks at a time. This role is based in Pemulwuy, however, you will be supporting all 16 homes throughout NSW when staff are on leave etc.
You will take responsibility for delivering fine dining cuisine and catering services for each of our stunning homes throughout NSW.
To be successful you must have the following:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher
- Basic Food Safety Practices certificate – HLTFS7A
- Food Safety Supervisor - HLTFS309C and HLTFS310C
- Previous experience within Aged Care is desirable
- Strong hospitality and food preparation experience
- Highly organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
- Highly motivated team player with the ability to take initiative
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and residents
