About the Home

Carinya Aged Care is a well established signature home offering  personalised quality of care and lifestyle to our residents. The area is surrounded by parklands, and only a short 5 minute walk to public transport.

About the Opportunity

We are actively seeking an experienced & dedicated Administration Officer to join our team on a permanent part time basis.

The role is 60 hours a week, working Monday - Friday from 9:30 - 4:00.

Responsibilities will include working on reception, liaising with residents, resident families and external providers, data entry including payroll data, support with rosters, filing and assisting the team with ad hoc administrative tasks. This is a busy role where you will also be supporting one other Administration Officer. The ability to multi task and manage competing demands is essential. 

About You

The ideal candidate must demonstrate the following:

• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility, with a can do attitude
• Current flu vaccination (evidence provided at interview) 
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people including the elderly and all levels of staff within the organisation
• A compassionate and personable manner
• A knowledge of aged care preferred
• High proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel knowledge 
• The ability to work autonomously
• knowledge of Kronos payroll system (Highly Desirable)
