Goals and Objectives
- Develop and implement OHS and all SWMS Policies
- Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery, sop etc)
- Conduct risk assessments
- Enforce preventative measures
- Initiate and organise OHS training of employees and executives
- Conduct inductions for all employees and contractors
- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity’s
- Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and create action points
- Conduct toolbox meetings
- Provide all customers, current and potential with the highest quality of service in a professional manner
- Liaise and communicate effectively with all employees at all sites
- Lead by example through presentation, work ethic and team work
Skills Required
- Tertiary qualifications in risk management and or WHS or related discipline
- Current Drivers Licence
- Construction Industry Experience
- White Card
- Have a solid understanding of WHS legislation and WHS systems
- Comprehensive written and verbal communication skills
- Organised with a strong element of attention to detail
- A sound level of computer literacy including data base management, Microsoft Outlook & Office and internet
