As our new Safety Business Partner for KFC South Pacific, reporting to our National Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will provide direction to the KFC Equity operations business, whilst supporting initiatives that continuously improve the KFC Safety Management System.

- Experience in a Safety Leadership or coordination role.
- Ability to make safety improvements with a pragmatic business minded approach, whilst understanding safety as a business enabler.
- Experience in QSR/retail sector or operations focused businesses with a safety-first culture is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated strength in organising and planning work.
- Safety systems experience with a strong systems mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to understand business plans and execute to drive impact.
- Ability to build relationships with an attention to detail.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF YOUR NEW ROLE
- Driving change in our KFC owned and operated restaurant network and increasing safety literacy and capability.
- Partner with key stakeholders to provide data driven safety recommendations.
- Manage Return to Work processes for KFC owned restaurant network in partnership with 3rd party providers.
- Guide projects in partnership with KFC operations to create safety and wellbeing culture (with aim to export best practices to franchise community).
- Coordinate the KFC Safety Council whilst completing projects as per the 3-year KFC Safety Management System Improvement road map.
- Guide our Area Safety Leader program across the KFC system.
- Ownership of the WHS Management technology system, whilst driving continuous improvement and development with internal stakeholders/3rd party providers.
- Create insights/trends in safety operations to provide recommendations to equity and franchise network on improvements.
- Prepare metrics and insights for key reporting forums.
