Stronghold Fire & Safety Pty Ltd has provided training and consultation services in SA for 8 years and are expanding. We have over 50 years combined training experience in, Risk Management, Emergency Management, Public Safety, WHS Management and Industry consultation services. Stronghold Fire & Safety has trained across every industry and are unique in that we are a smaller business with a large training scope in comparison to similar businesses in SA. We have built strong relationships with our clients and currently are contracted for businesses in Victoria and an international company with services in SA.
Qualifications & experience
- Essential Qualifications include Cert IV TAE40116 or equivalent
- Holding the following qualifications is desirable and experience delivering some or superseded courses would be advantageous:
- Warden PUAFER005, Confined Small Workplace Emergencies PUAFER008, Demonstrate First Attack Fire Fighting Equipment CPPFES2005A
- Lead an Emergency Control Organisation PUAFER006
- First Aid HLTAID011 & CPR HLTAID009
- We are looking for someone with previous Emergency Services experience, SES, Defence or Emergency Services Officer in the mines. A mixture of the above is highly desirable. You should have 2 years minimum experience training in the required disciplines.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Deliver Accredited & Non Accredited Fire & Safety courses up to 400 km from Adelaide CBD (If required)
- This will be ad hoc work depending on demand. Some training may require overnight stays
- Own vehicle capable of carrying equipment required to complete this type of training and that is secure
- Accommodation will be reimbursed or paid for
- You must have an ABN, have current Public liability insurance (covering you for on-site training) and a current National Police Clearance or be able to obtain these
- Contractor agreement will be required to be signed
