Due to operational growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Safety & Training Superintendent to join the team at our Maxwell Project! Being a full-time role, this opportunity is a FIFO/DIDO on an 8/6 roster and ready for an immediate start.
The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Regional Safety & Training Superintendent to join our team. Working autonomously as well as part of a team and ensuring a high-quality output, you will gain and expand your experience and knowledge in underground hard rock mining.
This position will see you working on an 8/6 roster in a full-time position and can be FIFO or DIDO from major cities.
In order to be considered for this position you will need to be able to demonstrate current or previous underground mining experience.
What you’ll need to succeed
- A positive can-do attitude, delivering quality outcomes in a timely fashion.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong & proven leadership skills & experience
- Ability to follow established systems whilst also coaching and mentoring others in these systems.
- Formal qualifications in WHS
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Hold a current manual Australian Drivers License
- Hold or be willing to obtain a current National Police Clearance.
- Qualifications and experience in internal auditing (desirable)
