Salaried GP

Background  

This is a wonderful opportunity for a GP to join a forward-thinking, passionate and friendly team in Gosport. This family-feel environment offers a tremendous amount of support to all clinical staff with capped patient contacts per session, no extended hours and no duty clinic. The practice wants Salaried GPs to focus on their patients and delivering exceptional care to them, hence them offering 15 minutes for face-to-face and telephone appointments! You will also be given a session of protected admin time each week and support to develop as a clinician and pursue specialist interests.  

Salary – £11,000 – £12,500 per session + indemnity + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave  

Location – Gosport 

The surgery       

• Mixed demographic, ranging from deprived to affluent and paediatrics to geriatrics  
• Can offer immense flexibility to GPs over working days  
• Supportive of the development of specialist interests  
• Excellent multi-disciplined team, including ANP, Clinical Pharmacist, Practice Nurses, et al. 
• Workflow team making sure only essential admin is given to GPs  
• Always looking at ways to develop and move forward for patients  

Your role –  

• Salaried GP 4-8 sessions per week 
• Capped patient lists  
• 15 minutes for telephone and face-to-face appointments  
• Protected time for home-visits 
• Protected admin session each week 
• No duty clinic 
• No extended hours
