We have a full-time position available for Sales Support Coordinator to join the Newstime Media team.
Canberra Daily and Canberra Weekly are leading media brands in the Canberra Region, being go-to sources of news, lifestyle and real estate information.
The role:
A dynamic position, you will be a go-to for the advertising team, working closely with design and external stakeholders, you’ll remain cool, calm and collected under pressure and be able to meet strict deadlines.
You:
You will have a willingness to learn, be a team player, and have stellar organisation and time management skills and an interest in sales.
A typical day:
Your days will include all aspects of media sales administration, liaising with clients, booking ads, preparing the magazine layout, overseeing ads being created, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders (think clients and other departments).
You will also be required to assist the Marketing Manager with social media activities such as creating content for clients and managing campaigns.
What we’re looking for:
- Motivation and initiative, being able to work with little supervision
- Experience in a support role and an understanding of the importance of this role within a sales team
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail
- Excellent time management and capability to prioritise your workload
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Medium to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn and use new software programs
- A team player and a diligent approach with a high-level customer service
- Media experience – desirable but not essential.
- Meta Business Suite experience – desirable
