Opportunity:
We are excited to present an opportunity for an experienced sales consultant to contribute to the continued growth of our business. We seek candidates with refined sales skills capable of delivering expert service to our customers. The ideal applicant should possess knowledge of fine jewellery, enabling them to consult on products, manufacturing, design, and repairs. Collaborating with our designers and jewellers, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering the development and expansion of the business. Essential qualities include strong communication, organization, and time management skills, as the role involves nurturing customer relationships both in-store, over the phone, and online. While previous jewellery knowledge is advantageous, the ability to liaise effectively with our on-premises workshop is vital for success at Waterdale Jewellery.

Key responsibilities include extending a warm welcome to patrons, promptly addressing inquiries via phone and email, and upholding meticulous attention to detail in every interaction. From coordinating repairs to managing inventory, the successful candidate will be a linchpin in ensuring the seamless operation of our boutique.

The key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Greeting and serving customers in a professional manner
- Responding promptly to phone calls and email inquiries
- Demonstrating attention to detail to ensure the highest level of service
- Maintaining clear communication with the jewellers and the team
- Coordinating with customers on repairs and workshop schedules
- Generating Sales and customer reports
- Assisting with stock management and ensuring inventory maintenance
- Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the boutique, displays, and stock
- Performing daily administrative tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and end-of-day balancing
- Being open to change and adapting as necessary to support growth and development
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous sales experience in the jewellery industry is preferred
- Knowledge of jewellery products, and service advice
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management abilities
- Passion for exceeding customer expectations
- Proficient IT skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
