The Western Australian Birds of Prey Centre and Critters Up Close has been providing mobile wildlife education for 20 years. We are looking for a full-time or casual person to join our team in Sales and Marketing. Our centre is based in the Swan Valley Perth, Western Australia. The Opportunity:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Marketing and Salesperson to support our amazing presenting team. The position can be for a full-time or casual role working Monday to Friday. Must be able to work unsupervised.
What you will need to be successful:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a marketing role
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Sales role.
- Experience with digital marketing, advertising and the development and execution of marketing/communication plans
- High level of written communication skills with experience writing for various marketing channels, (website, social media, direct to consumer email, search, print advertising)
- High level computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems, and experience using Canva, and online marketing channels including social media platforms
- High level of CRM and able to manage data base and communications.
- High level of knowledge with booking platforms, such as Acquity scheduling.
- High knowledge of website designs and word press.
- Knowledge on Google Drive and Calanders.
- Ability to cold call generating sales.
- Positive attitude and ability to problem solve.
- Any admin and bookkeeping an advantage.
- Ability to obtain a police clearance and Working with Children check
Duties include:
- Support the development and implementation of marketing and engagement strategy
- Create new sales leads though various sales funnels.
- Managing bookings and sales through our systems.
- Develop regular content for newsletters.
- Develop and produce marketing and digital content and creative design
- Day to day management of digital content updates on websites and social media
- Assist in the creation of advertising content to drive increased brand awareness and business growth
- Maintain Googles business profiles and other corporate platforms
- Prepare internal communications to support key messages, and staff engagement.
- Organisation of internal and external events.
