An opportunity exists for a motivated and driven
Sales and Customer Consultant to join an Australian, family owned, and operated business established in 1986. Their head office is based in Melbourne with distribution hubs in Geelong, Perth, and Sydney. They are a leading supplier of high-quality fastening systems, predominantly directed towards the construction industry.
Your new role
As an Internal Sales Representative, you'll handle customer enquiries, process orders, and ensure a positive experience for clients. You'll assist customers who visit the branch directly, providing information, answering questions, and facilitating sales. This role involves various internal tasks, such as coordinating deliveries to building sites or customers' premises. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the branch. Picking and packing orders accurately is essential to meet customer demands efficiently. While servicing existing accounts, you'll also have the opportunity to promote new business by reaching out to end users and leveraging distribution channels.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 1-year sales & customer service experience
- Good computer skills & ability to multitask and work under pressure and in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well presented, friendly and efficient.
- Must have a valid Driving Licence.
- Familiarity with Sydney and particularly the western suburbs will be beneficial for understanding customer needs and locations.
- Construction industry experience preferred
What you'll get in return
Full time permanent position 8:00 - 5:00 or 7:30 - 4:30
Offering $60K - $65K to the deserving candidate.
Quarterly bonuses (after qualifying period)
