Reporting to the WA Operations Manager, this role presents an excellent opportunity for a motivatedSales and Store Administration Assistantto join our team. This dual-role will assist with the planning of day to day activities, in relation to Purchasing, Sales and Stores for our WA facility.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Maintains first point of contact for customers and suppliers and handle enquiries by e-mail and phone in a professional manner.
- Plans and executes day-to-day store activities, ensuring storage, issuing, shipment and supply of inventory items are executed in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaboration with the sales, product and production team to ensure all customer needs are met.
- Enters and maintains new and existing customer data into computer management system.
- Maintains accurate records and paperwork.
- Compares information on requests, invoices, and shipping notices to material received or issued to verify accuracy of orders and specifications.
- Fills requisitions, work orders, picking slips, customer orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
- Ensures products are suitably packed for shipping or other transport.
- Communicates with customers and suppliers to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Internal issuing of materials.
- Receives goods, items into store via computer management system
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 3 Years previous experience in Stores/ Admin
- Knowledge of Stores Operations, Inspection and testing practices.
- Microsoft Office Suite – Intermediate
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Current drivers license.
