Position Overview:
As a Part-Time Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our company, assisting customers in finding the right products to meet their needs. Your enthusiasm, product knowledge, and customer-centric approach will ensure that each shopper has a memorable and enjoyable experience. Noting this position comes with weekday and weekend shifts on rotation with other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Listen attentively to customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Assist customers in making informed purchase decisions by offering in-depth product knowledge.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and operating the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a visually appealing and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, receiving stock and ensuring product displays are attractive.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide feedback to enhance customer service.
Qualifications:
- Prior retail or customer service experience is a must.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning about our products and conveying that information to customers.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
