Established in Noosa in 2004, Lightweight Traveller is a concept store for travel goods. We have been a mainstay of the Hastings street retail community for 20 years. A family owned business we are small enough to be flexible but large enough to carry the best quality travel brands from around the world. From shoes and clothes to luggage and accessories we help people explore the world with ease and style.
Qualifications & experience
- Excellent customer service skills and neat presentation
- Experience in retail sales is preferred
- Able to work autonomously, and to juggle multiple customer interactions at once
- Basic computer skills, ability to use excel and to learn the retail POS system
- Interest in travel and adventure
- Energetic and positive outlook. Driven to achieve sales targets
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assisting customers in store with selection and purchases of goods
- Operating our POS system to process sales, check stock levels, label new stock and conduct stocktakes
- Day to day up keep of the store organisation and cleanliness
- 20 - 30 hours per week, permanent part time
