With over 80 mastheads and media brands, 160 team members and counting, we are a growth driven company looking for a Junior Sales Assistant to join our team. We produce industry leading magazines and events that showcase our clients both nationally and internationally.
About the role:
The role of Junior Sales Assistant is an opportunity to start out assisting a Business Development Manager for up to 8-12 months, get full guidance within our sales department and gain an understanding of a Business Development role. This opportunity has the intent of moving people to Business Development Managers once they have completed full training and are competent.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Support the Business Development Manager to initiate, service and grow relationships with potential and existing clients. Help organise priorities and calendar. Remind BDM of renewals three months in advance and ensure monthly/quarterly meetings are booked with key clients, any data for meetings is prepared in advance. Draft proposals for BDM to present to existing and potential clients. Assist the BDM to identify, research & contact potential advertising prospects and set meetings. Record interactions, meetings and communication with clients using Salesforce CRM. Assist BDM to maintain and increase value of commercial relationships with existing clients. Digital reporting for clients when required. Full training (including weekly sales training and role practice), 1:1 weekly time with manager, induction, support and ongoing growth provided.
