Our Sales Consultants (we call them carconnect consultants) are responsible for handling online vehicle enquiries and providing a seamless buying experience for our customers. You'll not only be responsible for selling a brand new car, protection products, securing a great price for a trade-in vehicle & assisting with finance, but your relationship management & pipeline development skills will be paramount to your success. With a large sales team supported by experienced Team Leaders you'll be well supported in your journey with us.

A typical day make look like: 
 

• Take a customer’s vehicle request to tender with our network of dealers, working with suppliers nationally across majority makes & models to find THE ideal car for the customer
• Action inbound enquiry within 15 minutes - We know you must hate getting a call back 4 days later when you've already forgotten your enquiry? Yeah, we don't do that. 
• You'll respond to customer, dealer and customer success internal requests ensuring all parties have the required information and updates they require
• Talk trade-in to me - You'll assist in valuing and trading in the customers current car (we have a car warehouse on site)
• You'll work collaboratively with our finance and external brokers to get your customer the best finance deal on their next car
• You'll leverage our proprietary salesforce platform to enable a fully automated and seamless buying experience
• SUPPORT - part of what makes us great in our emphasis on TEAM. You'll spend your days surrounded by a team of sales staff all joining in and lending a hand to support each other along the way

We’re on a mission to save everyday people time, hassle & money when buying their brand new cars (most makes & models). Our online new car-buying platform makes it as easy as deciding on a vehicle, leaving us some details and letting us do the rest.

The Good Stuff

If you love routine and predictability in your day to day, then this won’t be your cup of tea. We are moving rapidly, and the only certainty is that you’ll be challenged to move with us!
  
You're an ideal Carconnector, if you:
 

• Previous experience in sales (online, phone sales or door to door sales superstars tend to excel at Carconnect)
• Sound mathematic, written & verbal communication skills, demonstrated within a professional working environment 
• Strong time-management capability: You can multi-task like a wizard, no email goes unanswered, no phone call goes un-returned
• Strong attention to detail: You don't want to order the wrong model car for your customer
• Demonstrable strong phone based sales skills and technique. We value transparency (literally, it's one of our values) and if you thrive dealing with people face to face ALL the time, this is not it. 
• Passion or an interest in the automotive industry (you are relatable to a customer when you really have a passion for the car they are trying to purchase, or cars in general)
• A proven track record of creating exceptional customer experiences 
• Are a team player: There's no I in team, or in carconnect. 
• No d***heads please: We only want to work with the best, so we ask you kindly to leave your ego at the door and understand that each employee at every level contributes equally to the success of our business
