Sales Consultant

Tyremax is a leading tyre wholesaler with national distribution and well-established quality brands, and we are in pursuit of a results-driven Sales Consultant to join our Darwin Branch Sales team located in Berrimah. 

Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, this role offers a unique blend of on-road and office-based work, allowing for a flexible work environment that suits your lifestyle. You will be responsible for driving sales, developing new business opportunities, and providing top-notch customer service to our clients. Key duties of this role include:

• Making warm outbound calls to existing customers to generate sales and following up on previous enquiries or quotes
• Responding to all customer enquiries regarding product information, pricing, availability, delivery schedules and back orders in a timely manner
• Receiving inbound calls from both internal and external customers regarding sales or enquiries
• Follow up visits to potential customers 
• Maintain regular contact with developing customers.
• Analyse reports and spend for all customers.
• Accurately processing and keying in sales orders and quotes
• Providing support and information to the team at the branch.

• Ability and skills to upsell and cross sell at every opportunity
• A ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work under pressure
• A friendly phone manner and strong communicator
• An ability to think on your feet with good attention to detail
• Tyre product and industry knowledge will be highly regarded
