We are seeking a Sales Engineer, focusing on providing innovative automation solutions to diverse industries including Brewery, Dairy, Water Treatment, Mining, and more. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of end-users, OEMs, and system integrators across project-based and maintenance-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with end-users, OEMs, and system integrators to understand their technical needs and recommend suitable solutions in sensors, PLCs, flow monitoring, wiring systems, condition monitoring, energy monitoring, track and trace, and remote sensors.
- Manage and cultivate relationships from plant level to C-level executives.
- Drive sales projects, focusing on both components and systems, with a blend of new projects and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities.
- Experience in sales (internal or external) within the process industry, preferably with exposure to mechanical or electrical components.
- Backgrounds in related fields such as building automation, HVAC, or related technical sales will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and provide tailored solutions.
- Open to candidates ranging from recent graduates to seasoned professionals with a continuous learning mindset.
- Technical aptitude with knowledge of sensors, PLCs, and related industrial automation technologies.
- Proven track record in sales and business development, meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Competitive salary circa $120k + Superannuation.
- Additional performance-based bonuses ranging from $12k to $35k.
