We are looking for an enthusiastic well organised professional to join our Smeaton Grange head office team. We need someone reliable with high work ethics and a genuine desire to advance through the ranks of a progressive company.
About the opportunity
This is a fast-paced role offering the candidate a great deal of variety that will challenge them to hone their existing skills as well as learn many new ones.
The role will suit someone with practical experience in residential construction with exposure to production or sales estimating or construction administration who is looking for an exciting and dynamic role with a rapidly growing market leader.
Tasks & responsibilities.
- Monitoring client leads within the industry.
- Servicing existing clients.
- Growing our client base and sourcing new business.
- Develop a sound knowledge of all company products and services.
- Respond to sales enquiries to provide pricing and product information.
- Read and interpret engineering/architectural drawings to determine requirements.
- Produce quotes.
- Follow up quotes and convert pending quotes into sales.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and demonstrate how we can add value to their business.
- Liasing with our builders supervisors and our installers as required.
- Assisting with adminstration duties and sheduling trades as required.
- Providing support for our feild engineers as required.
You will have
- Experience in the construction industry.
- Ability to interpret house plans and slab designs.
- Ability to record, produce reports and analyse data.
- A high work ethic, be reliable and have a genuine drive to progress in life.
- Outstanding administration, organisational and people management skills.
- Sound knowledge of the Microsoft office suite.
- A cool head and good problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage your own time and take ownership of your tasks.
- Be able to work both within the team and autonomously.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Exposure to BCI/Estimate one preferred
