The purpose of this role is to provide Sales Estimating services and work closely with Drafting, Sales, Edge and Production Estimating to ensure a seamless transition through the business of new build documentation and pricing.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Preparation of New Home Proposal and Contract Tenders.
- Advising Sales Consultants on all pricing relating to the home.
- Provision of pricing support for Edge Studio.
- Management of variation pricing and fixing of allowances.
- Representation of Sales Estimating in file checks against Burbank’s variation policy and pricing schedule.
- Pricing of marketing promotions in conjunction with Sales and Marketing.
- Advising and contributing to National systems and processes relating to Sales Estimating.
- Contribution to product and material reviews, in conjunction with Construction, Edge and Sales.
- Continual improvement of tender based language, items and disclaimers.
- Continual monitoring and adjustment of tender system pricing to support sales team.
- Other work as required by General Manager from time to time in support of Operational output.
- Occasional out of hours work to alleviate pressure points through Operations or where there are time sensitive Grants or Incentives that increase workload.
Key Requirements/Qualifications
- A minimum of Two years’ experience in the Building industry with a good construction background.
- Analytical & logical.
- Ability to ready & understand drawings & engineering.
- Good knowledge of building terminology.
- Able to concentrate for long periods.
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- Accurate with figure work.
- Work as part of a team.
- Aptitude for working with computers.
