THE ROLE
We are seeking the services of a experienced Sales Estimator to join our pre construction team. The position offers a high level of autonomy and you will be responsible for the following:
- Produce accurate BOQ sales tenders by estimating & obtaining/assessing supplier quotations.
- Produce accurate estimates and minimize risk while maintaining lowest possible competitive cost.
- Creating itemized formal Quotations for new residential custom homes & multi-residential projects.
- Ensure appropriate margin structure is applied to all projects.
- Risk assessment through the tender process
- Ensuring tender deadlines are achieved
- Working closely with the company directors and reporting directly to the Operations Manager
ABOUT YOU
Experience in the estimating of custom homes and small-medium density residential projects.
- The ability to prioritize tasks and time-manage effectively
- Excellent communication skills - interpersonal and written
- Maintaining and updating excel workflow spreadsheets
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage and implement improvements to systems
- The ability to work closely with colleague's in a collaborative and friendly work environment.
- Databuild or similar knowledge would be a distinct advantage but not essential
