The Role
This full-time position is responsible for customer relations with existing and prospective customers while identifying new business opportunities within your territory. Ideally you will have a strong network of connections through independent retailers including deli's, grocery stores and fruit shops etc.
The Responsibilities
The core responsibility for this role is to increase and drive new customer sales and overall GP contribution within your territory. This will be achieved by
- Actively pursuing new sales opportunities including cold calling
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Selling additional products into your existing customer base
- Actively pursuing new sales opportunities including cold calling
Skills and Experience
- A new business hunter
- Min 3 years of sales experience preferably within in the retail industry
- A strong passion for food and customer service
- A great attitude, competitive and self-motivated
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated and driven to achieve KPI’s and targets
