The Royal Life Saving Society WA is one of WA's leading and most respected community service organisations. With over 100 years of providing water safety services to the WA community, we are a leading drowning prevention charity. We have a multi-award winning marketing and fundraising operation and always looking for motived Sales & customer service focussed professionals to join our team.

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Fundraising Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good experience in delivering a high level of sales and customer service and be able to work independently. 

As a fundraising officer for the Royal Life Saving Society WA, you will join a team of dedicated fundraisers that work at various locations across the Perth metropolitan area. You will be engaging with people within the local community to raise awareness on our lifesaving programs as well as directly raising funds through the sale of merchandise and raffle tickets.

 Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

• Representing our brand with excellent face-to-face customer service.
• Promoting the sale of merchandise and raffle tickets.
• Continually striving to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Identifying new leads and establish new business relationships for various products and services.
• Provide accurate reporting information.

Successful candidates will be:

• A charismatic confident 'people person' able to positively engage with members of the public. 
• Sales experience in a similar role is highly desirable but not essential.
• Bring a positive energy and a can-do attitude.
• Goal orientated, resilient and self-motivated.
• Computer literate.  
• Be available to work at least 15 hours per week including some weekends.
• Must have reliable car and driver’s license. 
• The ability to work within a team or independently. 
• Reliable, well presented and enthusiastic
• A great communicator and enjoy building relationships.
• Ambitious and not afraid to seek new opportunities.
• Mature aged applicants encouraged to apply.
• Current police clearance may be required.
