Our client was established over a decade ago, founded by two well known sales and marketing recruiters who have always serviced the building services, industrial and consumer industries. With these industries maintaining demand all year round they are hiring another experienced Recruitment Consultant to manage existing work as well as further develop their client base.
The opportunity
This is a great opportunity for a local recruiter to join a local, well respected recruitment provider. Taking over a warm desk where at least 50% of your work will be given to you, this company is known for going above and beyond to fill their client work and forging great client relationships due to that. You will be filling sales or marketing roles into industrial, consumer, building, retail, hardware suppliers etc but a good solid knowledge of either sales and marketing, or built recruitment is enough. Working in a small team you will be given the tools of trade to make sure you are successful and the support of a very engaged, respected owner. Total flexibility is offered for a local recruiter, juggling school or out of work commitments while still offering the ability to earn six figures and have a rewarding career.
Who you will be
You will probably be someone in the local area that wants a career but needs flexibility. With a couple of years recruitment experience, preferably in permanent placement, HR or internally, you will be able to run a thorough 360 process from engaging with C suite stakeholders to post placement support. 50% or more of your work will be given to you but you also need to be comfortable picking up the phone and introducing yourself to new clients. If you are familiar with filling product management, sales, marketing, communications and brand managers for building supplier companies that would be great! Access to a car would be desirable and parking is provided.
The rewards
You can't put a price on working locally and having full flexibility. Ideally you will work from home on Fridays and from their offices for the rest of the week, or school hours but the owner is totally open - it's about offering a good recruitment service. You will be offered everything you need to be successful - tools of the trade, an owner who gives you work and candidates as well as provides marketing and admin support. You'll also be paid a competitive base salary pro-rata and good commission scheme with realistic expectations.
