We have an exciting opportunity at our Stapylton Harvey Norman Commercial office for a motivated and driven Full TimeSalesperson in our Plumbing division. You will play a pivotal role in growing the business’ client base, particularly North Brisbane andSunshine Coast.
Your duties include but are not limited to:
- Develop plans to grow the Harvey Norman Commercial business.
- Work with key division Managers to strategically identify and develop business targets
- Source sales and business opportunities
- Develop, implement and maintain a customer relations program
- Analyse market needs and trends to identify potential new business.
- Establish and maintain contact with new and existing clients, commercial customers on a regular basis
- Weekly and monthly reporting with business activities
The successful applicant will possess:
- Sound experience in a sales capacity with a desire to build clientele and drive sales
- Knowledge of the plumbing & electrical trade will be beneficial but is not essential if you have a desire and passion to learn about the industry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with people on all levels
- Superb organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks
- Thorough attention to detail
- Superior data entry accuracy with a key eye for detail
- A team player who can also work well unsupervised
- Punctuality and work commitment
- Intermediate computer skills especially Excel
- Problem solving and the ability to think on your feet
- The ability to think outside the square
