Our business was founded in 2002 where Hume began supplying to local fit out companies, installers and contractors. From the beginning, we as an organisation have always valued reliability and best service and we strive to package that as part of the customer experience. Hume is now a well-established business in the building materials sector, with 8 stores supplying an extensive range of building products in NSW and VIC. We specialise in supplying to builders, architects and developers with leading brand products and solutions for residential, commercial, industrial or repair and remodelling building projects. To support the business's growth plans, we are looking for fresh talent and currently have Account Manager positions available based at Yennora NSW.

Your Main Duties
We are ideally looking for someone who, put simply, has the ability to sell. The successful person will need to demonstrate capability in:
- Site visits upon request from external and internal stakeholders and securing new business opportunities with customers and prospects by generating demand for our products
- Identifying new prospects to generating demand and building sales pipeline
- Providing sales quotes and estimates
- Liaising and following up with customers and contractors to convert quotes into sales
- Managing customer accounts through proactive project anticipation and providing solutions
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
What You Can Bring
- Minimum 3 years of Sales experience in the Building and Construction industry, further training will be provided
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- A strategic mindset
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively build rapport and maintain networks/relationships with developers, stakeholders and customers
- Experience using a CRM system
- Can-do attitude and willing to go the extra mile
- Excellent memory to learn our extensive product range
- Knowledge in building products is a plus, but not essential
- Savvy working with computer systems
- White card holder (preferable)
- Your own work vehicle (essential)
