Sales Support Agent

This includes a ramp up operations to elevate to 63 weekly flights across Australia along with the restart of Christchurch via Sydney services.

Based in our Melbourne office, as the Sales Support Agent, you will provide best in class Sales Support across all channels and segments to Emirates trade partners in order to maximize revenue and achieve commercial targets. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Answer Australia and New Zealand trade partner call enquiries and resolve problems with a high degree of customer service level.
• Provide written communication for general commercial correspondence, and redirect if necessary to relevant departments and or sales colleagues where appropriate.
• Handle nationwide group business enquiries and respond with quotations and reservations promptly to ensure the maximisation of Retail Group revenue sales.
• Build group requests through the GWS application, create the group contracts and monitor the group movements throughout their life cycle.
• Create reservations, provide booking solutions, arrange ticketing and airfare additional collection as directed.

• Airline Commercial/Sales knowledge and experience, including in Fares and Ticketing / Reservations
• Proficiency with GDS System and Microsoft Office packages 
• Superior communication skills written and spoken English
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure
• Educated to High School level or equivalent
