About the Role
As a Sales Support Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our sales efforts, working closely with our sales and engineering teams to understand customer requirements, develop conceptual designs, and ensure seamless communication throughout the sales process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the sales team to comprehend customer needs and technical requirements.
- Providing technical support during customer interactions and meetings.
- Assisting in the preparation of technical proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Working with cross-functional teams to interpret customer requirements and develop conceptual designs.
- Converting information into concept drawings using SolidWorks/CAD design tools.
- Providing timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries and technical queries.
- Maintaining documentation of technical specifications, customer interactions, and project status updates.
- Facilitating cost estimation and creating quoted pricing for custom case solutions.
- Driving process improvement and contributing to the development of Sales Support tools and resources.
About the You
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
- Proven track record of providing technical solutions and support to sales teams and customers.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in technical solutions and documentation.
- Customer-centric approach with a passion for addressing customer needs.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn about new technologies and industry trends.
