As a Salesforce Vlocity Developer working with the Government, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement tailored solutions within the Salesforce Vlocity/Industries platform. This entails utilizing various tools such as Apex, Visualforce, LWC, Flex cards, and Omniscript. You'll collaborate closely with a technical team, including developers, architects, and stakeholders, to design and execute solutions specific to insurance products. Your duties will also include participating in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality code. Additionally, you'll provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing solutions.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- At least 4 years of experience in Salesforce development
- A beneficial Omnistudio Dev certification
- Proficiency in configuring, customizing, and implementing Vlocity Industries (insurance) solutions, particularly in Omniscript, Data Raptors, Integration procedures, Layouts, and Flex Cards
- Experience with Salesforce platform implementations, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
- Strong understanding of development lifecycle, including deployment and packaging using Metadata API, ChangeSet, and YAML
- Expertise in Apex classes/triggers, Batch Apex, Integration Patterns, LWC development, CSS/HTML, and Apex Development Patterns
- Familiarity with Salesforce Metadata API, Streaming/Push APIs, Platform events, Bulk APIs, and Rest Services
- Knowledge of Salesforce Datamodelling and basic understanding of Vlocity Industries Datamodel (Insurance)
- Understanding of best practices in Coding Standards, Deployment, Integration, and Security implementations
- Proficiency in SOSL and SOQL, as well as flows and flow orchestration
- Hands-on experience with tools such as vscode, SCM - Git, and IDX workbench
- Experience working in a global delivery environment
